Catering Luciano
“Da Luciano” boasts a culinary tradition that goes back to 1948, when Audemio and Cesira Giorni opened this historic restaurant.
Even as a child, their son Luciano showed a great interest in cooking. In 1964 he went abroad for his first work experience, completing his professional training in Germany, Switzerland, England and, above all, France.
In Paris he earned a degree in French at the Alliance Française while also working at the city’s most famous hotels and restaurants, such as Maxime, La Tour D’Argent and the Hotel Napoleon (to name only a few).
When he returned to Italy, he decided to combine the sophistication of French cuisine with the cooking of his mother Cesira, an outstanding and creative interpreter of genuine Italian food.
In 1978 “Da Luciano” became the first Umbrian restaurant to earn the prestige of a Michelin star.
Today it is still considered one of the finest restaurants in central Italy and has had the honor of hosting celebrities such as Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Monica Bellucci, Rahimi Kock, Saadi Gaddafi, Vittorio Gassman, Patsy Kensit, Liam Gallagher, Umberto Agnelli, Valentino Rossi and many others – both famous and unknown – who love fine dining!
