Catering Renata
We decided to add Renata to our list of caterers because, with her, we have found someone truly different from all those we’ve met so far: she offers true Tuscan tradition.
The pride of her company is unquestionably home-style cooking prepared according to the finest Umbrian-Tuscan traditions. This means offering local cheese and charcuterie, fresh homemade pasta, top-quality local meat, tasty vegetable side dishes, hearty legumes and traditional desserts, all of which served with typical local wines.
The Tuscan cuisine has inimitable characteristics that come from the region’s particular terrain, extending from the sea to the hillsides and thus creating different culinary traditions. Tuscany offers country-style fare that focuses on freshness and on the quality of the local products: olive oil, meat, fish and seafood, vegetables, fruit, cheese and wine.
This is what Renata has to say about her cooking: “Tuscany boasts an ancient and masterly cuisine prepared with delicious ingredients. At the same time, it is never overly elaborate: the key aspect of our cuisine is undoubtedly its simplicity. However, it is only seemingly simple, because each dish is made of well-balanced quantities. It is never dictated by haste but by the utmost attention in choosing and blending the ingredients.”
Simple and essential: these are the adjectives used to define Tuscan cooking, a “no-frills” cuisine that does not need to be highly elaborate in order to win over new admirers.
