Dear Marco, Monica and all the team at Romantic Italian Weddings,

Three months have passed since our wedding and we still cannot get over how amazing the whole experience was!  We want to thank you so much for making our wedding such an incredible day for us and for all our guests.  It is so difficult to convey in just a few short paragraphs how successful it was and how much everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

Firstly though we would like to say how helpful the 8 steps tool was in the planning process for us.  We both work full time and being able to plan the wedding in the evening through your website and by email was so useful.   All the options were clearly laid out and you were always so quick to get back to us if we had a question, even if that was very late in the evening!  The speed of your replies reassured us that our wedding was in good hands all the way through the planning stages.  People kept asking if it was difficult to plan the wedding from so far away but, to be honest, we think it was ten times easier!

From our meeting on the first day of our wedding week we could see you had everything well under control and that every member of your team was as professional as you are.  Each of your suppliers were so accommodating of our requests (some very last minute ones!) and nothing was too much hassle.  From that first meeting we were so confident everything would run smoothly that it allowed us to relax and enjoy the rest of our week.

Our memories of the wedding day are so incredible – everything fell exactly into place - from the weather, to our time in Cortona, to the most delicious meal, the staff, everything!  Cortona Town Hall is a beautiful setting for a wedding and it was lovely to have all the guests sitting around us so we could see them and feel that they were really a part of the ceremony.  Cortona itself is such a beautiful place.  We love the photographs Stefano took on our little walking tour of the town afterwards!

One of our favourite parts of the day was the Prosecco and nibbles by the pool back at the Villa.  The views of Lake Trasimeno and the string trio playing in the background really added to the magic of the setting.  From these first little tasters to the main wedding meal – all of the food was absolutely top quality.  Thank you so much to Giuliano and his team.  We are already planning a return visit to Passignano just to visit his restaurant!

The party that followed was an absolute blast!  Alex really knows his stuff and had the dance floor packed from the word go.  He no doubt had some help though from the speed at which the bar staff were handing out the Mojitos!  We partied till late in the night and it was a great way to wrap up a perfect day.

Since returning home we have had nothing but great feedback from the guests who were so impressed by the whole wedding experience.  We have been complimented so much on the work we put in to organising the day but really the credit has to go to you and your team.  We would thoroughly recommend Romantic Italian Weddings to anyone planning a wedding abroad.
