Types of Marriage Ceremonies in Italy

Lots of marriage ceremonies to choose….Civil ceremony in Cortona town hall or legally-binding at the villa? Symbolic or religious ceremony…? Indoor or outdoor? Regardless of what kind of ceremony you will choose our wedding packages in Italy got you covered. Below is a short outline.
Legally binding civil ceremonies
Legally-binding marriage ceremonies are Civil ceremonies where the wedding is formally registered in Italy and is valid internationally ( we’ll provide full and accurate legal assistance!).
A sworn statement and signing of the wedding register it is requested before the legally binding ceremony, and we usually organize this one or two days before the ceremony.
The legally binding ceremonies are always performed outdoor in the Garden Temple at villa San Crispolto or in the Garden of Villa Baroncino.
Cortona Town Hall Ceremonies

The civil marriage ceremonies at Cortona town hall are conducted in Italian by the local mayor or a borough council clerk (with English translation courtesy of our interpreter!) with two mandatory witnesses over 18. Legal paperwork must be issued. It usually lasts around 25 minutes. You’re welcome to include special readings and music in the service.
Marriage Ceremonies here are reliably special occasions that far exceed the typical civil service offering, and everyone’s sure to be charmed by the venue’s delightful historical setting.
Cortona Cathedral Ceremonies

A Catholic ceremony performed in a church by an English speaking priest is legally-binding if it contains the Civil bit in the same ceremony. At least one of the two partners has to be Catholic, and both religious and civil documents must be issued. It usually lasts about 45 minutes.
We can also host a protestant service performed by an Anglican Minister In Cortona Cathedral or if you prefer at our venue outdoor.
Symbolic

Another bonus is you can personalize the ceremony to your heart’s content!
